Oh my. I don't think I would want the extra appendage attached to my person. Of course, if that was my twin, it wouldn't feel like just an appendage. It's kinda' sad.
What I find most curious about this series is that so many of the subjects have taken to accessorizing the parasitic twin. A knee-high sock or an extra pump - just the sort of accoutrement to try to blend in the mutation.
I'm still wrapping my head around the last image. Especially from an understanding of her performance style.

I've seen some photos of "twins gone wrong" before but never these. Fascinating and repulsive. And then I feel disgusted with myself.
But I continue to look.
Very interesting. I'm working on a painting that incorporates this kind of thing.
