Lucky #13 Giveaway From Gorey Details! Edward Gorey 2010 Postcard Calendar

So I got my Edward Gorey 2010 postcard calendar/planner from the gruesomely awesome folks at Gorey Details!

Thank you so much!

Love it!

As you can see, I've already started entering the important dates...

Check out some of the detachable postcards...

This 112 page calendar, which you can view here at the Gorey Details shop, features twenty-six postcard manifestations of Edward Gorey's unique imagination that are easily detachable for mailing.

Included are twenty drawings from the Gorey-illustrated books and series: The Awdrey-Gore Legacy, The Broken Spoke, The Dong with a Luminous Nose, The Eclectic Abecedarium, The Gashlycrumb Tinies, The Gilded Bat, The Iron Tonic, Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, The Raging Tide, The Remembered Visit, The Sopping Thursday, The Untitled Book, Light Metres, and Verse Advice; three of Gorey’s costume designs for The Mikado; and three additional images featuring cats, fur-coated men, and mysterious gatherings.

One of my ever-so-charming Aspergian traits is being a bit obsessed with calendars. I'm also just slightly (haha!) obsessed with "darker" art and the likes of Edward Gorey. But, like, who doesn't need a calendar? And you should totally have a cool one!

I'll be using mine to keep track of all my important appointments, special days and also my blogging schedule.

And the postcards are so awesome! Being in my planner, it's an easy reminder to send out at least two of the many thank-you notes I should be sending out each month. {I get a lot of gifts from blog friends cuz I'm so lucky like that!}

I'm following your blog,

as for Gorey Details, I'm drooling over the Red Gashlycrumb Tinies Lunchbox. The Gashlycrumb Tinies were my introduction to Mr Gorey and they hold a special place in my heart for that very reason, my favourite was "N is for Neville who died of ennui"

Oh boy, oh boy! I hope I win! I am a huge Gorey fan. Just saw an exhibit of his work recently - wonderful. It's too hard to pick my favorites from that shop. I've had it bookmarked for ages. Always had my eye on the dangling cat pendant though.
